Thanks Claire! I'm glad it has inspired you. I admit I've had a lot of anxiety in the past. I've travelers by boat and van - and now traveling with a backpack. After 12 1/2 years of travel I think im becoming more comfortable with going to new places.
Colombia has a pretty bad history so it is understandable why people wouldn't want to visit. But it has really gone through some major transformations since then.
We have been in Medellin for two months now and love it. People are so nice!
